Flag Football
Pre K/ K-   We are looking into running a skills camp in Aug, Please reach out if you are interested.  We need volunteers to commit before we can open registration.  We had to cancel this age group last year due to no volunteers and not enough interest. 

1st-2nd grade- Flag Football. We are partnering with Fort Lupton Rec for fall flag football.  Registration will be through their website, link below.    Practices will be held in the evenings during the week at Weld Central Middle or High School with weekend games.  Games will be Saturday mornings.  The Season will run July- September.   We are looking for head coaches, assistant coaches and team parents to volunteer with these kids.  With out Volunteer Coaches we may have to cancel teams.please email us at redthunder [email protected]  if you are interested in coaching. 
You will be provided with flags and a jersey.  You will need to provide a mouth guard and cleats.   Sign up early to save.

Tackle Football

Tackle football will be offered to those in 3rd-6th grade. Based on registrations, teams will either be a single grade or double grades (3rd/4th and 5th/6th as an example) and we will not be able to have that specific information until later in the registration process.  Tackle teams will also be playing in the NOCO league.  This is a competitive league and playing time is not guaranteed. Games will be hosted throughout the Northern Colorado region (mostly Loveland and Keenesburg) and typically take place on Saturday. Practices will be in the evenings during the week at Weld Central Middle or High School.

All youth are required to obtain their own helmets, cleats and mouthpieces. Shoulder pads, pants and jerseys will be provided by the club, with a $100 deposit that will be refunded at the end of the season when equipment is returned. Helmets will need to be Scarlet  or White in color but can be painted to be the correct color if you purchase a different color. White helmets are the easiest to paint. You may purchase helmets at places such as Play It Again Sports, Second Time Sports, Dick's Sporting Goods, Scheels, Academy Sports or most sporting good stores. If you are purchasing online, we highly recommend going to have your player fitted first so you can ensure the correct size.  We are looking for head coaches, assistant coaches and team parents to volunteer with these kids. You will be provided with the equipment and help that you need to be successful!  Registration will open Feb 11th, 2025

Practices will mainly be located at the Weld Central Middle School or the Weld Central High School in Keenesburg.

Uniform Deposits-Due to the amount of uniforms that were not returned last season and staying aligned with our goal of offering affordable sports to the community, we will be collecting a uniform deposit this season. You deposit will be returned when you return the uniform in usable condition (normal wear and tear).  Uniform deposit will be $100 due on the scheduled uniform pickup day TBD.
